Michael’s Harborside to Host Canned Food Drive for The Salvation Army of Newburyport

Michael’s Harborside is hosting a canned food drive to benefit The Salvation Army of Newburyport. Nearly 47 million Americans face food insecurity every day, including many children and families in the Newburyport community. Donations can be dropped off at Michael’s Harborside now through Friday, November 21, 2025. These items will directly support The Salvation Army of Newburyport’s weekly food pantry for neighbors and surrounding communities and will be used for Thanksgiving and Christmas meal kits. Suggested items for donation include boxed mashed potatoes, gravy (jars or packets), canned cranberry sauce, canned green beans, corn, peas, yams, and boxed stuffing.
