Merrimack Riverbank Cleanup at Ferry Park, West Newbury

Merrimack Riverbank Cleanup at Ferry Park
Sponsored by Plum Island Surfcasters

Ferry Park lies along a beautiful stretch of the Merrimack River just upstream of Rocks Bridge in West Newbury.  This bend of the river is a natural deposit point for river-born plastic.  Please join us on Sunday, April 25, 2020 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am to provide a little stewardship to this picturesque spot on the tidal Merrimack.
  • More information can be found at the Plum Island Surfcasters Website.
  • Please read the information at the link above for a description of the event and some safety issues for participants to be aware of.
  • Bring a fishing rod to participate in an early-season shad fishing outing with club members.
