Diane Battistello, left, is a talented songwriter. Her sweet voice makes you sit up and take notice of her powerful words. "I grew up on the Wading River, in Norton, MA and we had a swimming hole there. When I was  young I would go to the end of the diving board and sing to the trees. They were a lovely audience; the swaying branches and rustling leaves sounded amusingly like applause." -Diane Battistello

Folksoul Duo right, is Fred Simmons and Leslie Vogel, doing what they do, on trombone, guitar, keyboard and accordion, playing which ever songs they choose from their repertoire. They have a distinctive style in everything they do, and are carrying on some of our country?s most wonderful musical traditions, as well as adding to them.
