Let's come together to welcome autumn with balance and grace. As the heat of summer fades and the nights grow longer, building internal warmth through yoga practice has a natural appeal. In addition, the airiness, or "vata" of the season ~ crisp breezes and falling leaves ~ create a contrast in which our own grounded yogic nourishment becomes all the more important and fulfilling. Chakra Flow is an all levels workshop which will give you an opportunity to dwell deeply in your own energy at this pivotal time of year. Through an engaging flow of postures, breathing exercises and meditations, we will explore our seven major energy centers, or chakras. You will have the chance to learn how these centers relate to physical anatomy, go inward and feel the directional flows of subtle energy in your body, and consider the relationship between your actions, thoughts, and emotions and each chakra. We will step off of our mats renewed and refreshed and ready to immerse in the stunning beauty of autumn in New England! This workshop is appropriate for all levels.

Breathe, be present, and connect with deep strength and contentment within - these are the intentions that Checka Antifonario has held for her yoga students over the past eight years of leading classes, workshops and retreats. Checka (E-RYT, RCYT) is deeply committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive space for practice and community. With a lighthearted but attentive approach, she offers mindful and safe sequencing along with compassionate and skilled assists in her Vinyasa flow classes. Checka equally enjoys the quiet and healing element of more reflective, restorative yoga, and offers the loving-kindness of Reiki energy work to enrich these classes.
