Best of Voices of Christmas Past

Join us on  our YouTube channel (youtube.com/user/CustomHouseMuseum) at 6:30pm on Friday, December 4, 2020 for our annual holiday event, Voices of Christmas Past. As with years past, the program will present modern viewers with social and cultural perspectives of holidays long past, from those who lived during Newburyport’s golden age of maritime commerce.
Conceived, written, and directed by Kate Gilbert, the narratives are inspired by historical documents left us by the historical peoples of Newburyport. The theme of this year’s program is: Best of The Voices of Christmas Past. It will feature Kate’s favorite entries from the past 10 years of performances. Actors Brian Nickerson and Mike Coppinger will join Kate in performing the dramatic readings.
