Learn how to safely and effectively cycle on our local roads for fitness and enjoyment.  The North Shore is a great place to ride.  Our director of cycling programs has over thirty years of experience riding, racing, guiding bike tours, and teaching bike skills to various user groups.  

Class instruction is geared toward new riders and will focus on:
*Safety
*Rules of the Road
*Relevant laws
*Shifting and Peddaling efficiency
*Bike fit
*Cycling for fitness

BYO Bike!  Functional Adventure will provide basic mechanical support but please make sure your bike has been recently tuned up and is road-ready.  Bikes can be rented locally at Riverside Cycles. All participants are required to wear a helmet and sign a waiver.  We will ride at a comfortable learning pace - about 10mph, and the distance will be determined by the class objectives as the ride unfolds.

Please bring water, bike-appropriate snacks and something to carry them in.  Please RSVP as we can only accommodate six participants.
